Dayton Friends Meeting is hosting a chili dinner fundraiser to support our Haitian neighbors. You’re invited to bring a crockpot of your favorite chili or just come to eat and support a good cause. 100% of donations go towards Miami Valley Immigrant Coalition legal defense fund.

WHEN THE SPIRIT MOVES… is an evening of gospel music and liturgical dance celebrating the African American tradition of spirituality, community, and connection to the divine.

This intimate and powerful program has deep resonance with Dayton’s faith communities and speaks directly to the spiritual dimension of DCDC’s identity as a company rooted in the Black experience. An evening of President and CEO Debbie Blunden-Diggs’ most beloved styles of dance, WHEN THE SPIRIT MOVES… reconnects movement to worship in a space designed for gathering.

The Village of Yellow Springs Public Arts & Culture Commission — in partnership with The Yellow Springs Community Foundation and the The Beloved Community Project — proudly presents Revival: A Celebration of American Music, September 25–27, as part of the Village's America 250 celebration.

In the spirit of Help Us Make A Nation (HUMAN) and the AACW Blues Fest, Revival honors arguably our nation's greatest cultural exports by celebrating the diverse musical traditions that have shaped America's story, bringing people together through live music, culture, and shared history.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

We’ll be serving up delectable small plates, delicious handcrafted cocktails and mocktails, an exquisite wine and spirits selection, fabulous desserts, and the elegant atmosphere you’ve been looking for. Be sure to arrive early - this show is sure to pack the house!
