Music Submission

Our ears are open for great new music. At WYSO and Novaphonic, our hosts have 100% freedom to play what they want during their shows. We play both singles and full albums/EPs from an eclectic and diverse mix of artists and genres.

Here's how to share your music with us:

Please DO:

• Send us your music! Digitally submit your releases to musicdepartment@wyso.org with this information:
  
  • Downloadable high quality music files (.wav preferred) either digitally or on CD - mixed and mastered files, please. A Bandcamp download link is great.
  • Artist name and pronouns for all members
  • Album/EP title and label (when applicable)
  • Phonetic spelling of artist name, album title and/or song titles (when applicable)
  • Clean radio edits for tracks containing FCC violations and notes for any non-edited tracks
  • Bio/one-sheet/press release and if you’re an Ohio band, please let us know!

  • Upcoming shows in the southwest Ohio (don't forget to submit those shows to our Community Calendar)

• Send streaming links only; we cannot play your music on the air via Spotify or Apple Music.
• Expect individual feedback or a reply to your submission. We receive an average of 100+ songs per week, many weeks, many more! Our goal is to listen to and consider as much as possible.
