In 2002, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base was Ohio’s largest single-site employer with 19,000 personnel. Now, the base employs double that.

Air Force Research Lab commander Maj. Gen. Scott A. Cain relinquished his duty, welcoming Brig. Gen. Jason E. Bartolomei as commander. AFRL is based at Wright-Patt Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

The National Museum of the United States Air Force hosted the fourth annual mini drone race this weekend. Visitors to the museum were able to see pilots fly their mini drones through a few of the museum’s aircraft.
