
Diamond Smith
Community Voices ProducerDiamond Smith is a proud U.S. Army veteran who served 8.5 years on active duty, including a deployment to Afghanistan in 2014 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. With a strong background in logistics and leadership, she is now focused on empowering veterans through advocacy, entrepreneurship, and storytelling.
She currently serves as a Military Community Advocate for Entrepreneurship with the National Veterans Leadership Foundation (NVLF) at Wright State University, helping veterans navigate the path to business ownership and long-term success.
As a co-host and contributor to Veterans Voices on WYSO, Diamond is passionate about elevating stories that reflect the real, raw, and often unheard experiences of those who’ve served.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Science for Organizational Leadership with a minor in Communications and is set to begin her Master of Public Administration in the fall of 2025 at Wright State University.
