If you're trying to describe us, this is what we say!Established in 2009, PechaKucha Night Dayton is a free quarterly idea-sharing party and networking event for adults.PechaKucha is a fast-paced style of presenting using 20 slides discussed for 20 seconds each (20x20). This presentation format allows speakers to share their passions in a succinct format, telling their stories in their own voices, with unique visuals leading the way.
This creative outlet began as nighttime get-togethers in Tokyo in 2003 by two renowned architects. Since then, three million people have attended PechaKucha events worldwide. Dayton is one of over 1,200 official PK cities.
PK Dayton is a volunteer-run event by local organizers Shayna, Mike, Ron, Meg, Sean, and Sarah.

Join us at Wright Library for a Gingerbread Jamboree Puppet Show with River City Puppets on Sunday, December 7 from 2 - 3 p.m.
Ralphie the Elf has one dangerous job; he has to feed the Gingerbread Beast! It gobbles up cookies, houses, and most of all… stories! With help from the audience, Ralphie must entertain the beast with hilarious versions of The Gingerbread Man, Hansel and Gretel, and a surprising new tale starring the Gingerbread Beast himself.
You will be mesmerized by the puppetry, music, and masterful storytelling in this original puppet show by Dylan Shelton of River City Puppets, a national touring puppet theatre that creates original performances perfectly suited for children and families.

Sandra is best known for her headlining performances in the Women in Jazz concerts and opening act for Ray Charles. Sandra captivates audiences with her smooth, sultry and energetic performances. Her varied musical range and sassy vocal styling is sure to leave audiences mesmerized and a memorable evening. This is a special evening of celebration as Sandra graduates from The University of Dayton with her Masters in Educational Leadership during the morning commencement. She plans to share her gifts throughout the community enhancing our youth - our future leaders!
She welcomes special guest, National Comedian, Mark Gregory to the stage. Mark is the nephew of comedic legend Dick Gregory and one of the hottest clean comedians today. His refreshing style of comedy brings audiences to their knees.
