The film screen portion of the evening will be 70 min. in length, so feel free to bring a lawn chair or something comfortable to sit on for the duration of the film.

Family holidays can feel like a roleplaying game, especially for a group of queer, polyamorous D&D players. Based on Not Another Thanksgiving Play, which premiered last November at Dayton TheatreLab, Operation Roll Play is a heartfelt rom-com with a modern edge. After earning the title of “Best New Work” by the Dayton Daily News, this “fascinating look at family, friendship, gender, and identity” is making its big-screen debut for one night only! In this comedy-of-errors, a found-family of misfit cinephiles must learn to juggle family, personal relationships, and their Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Who will they bring home to meet the parents? How long can they be “normal” at family dinner? When will they find the time for their next B-movie night?! Join the party for Operation Roll Play, a bold, new, local comedy!
