The locally based band, SCUZZY WAYNE, will play at Nine Pines Winery on Friday, 11/7/25, 8 PM to 10 PM. Door opens at 7:30 PM. The psychedelic power-pop trio describes itself as “fusing the ‘trippy riffs’ and ‘cerebral freakouts’ of psych rock with melodic hooks and catchy choruses, creating a sing-along frenzy of fuzz.” They play both original songs and covers. Come out to experience our well-lit, free parking, our large stage, large dance floor, our delicious wines and light snacks. The Book Fair Foundation is a non-profit organization that collects donated books year-round for our annual Book Fair, the biggest second-hand book sale in Ohio. This year's Book Fair is on November 7-9, 2025 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds at 645 Infirmary Rd. Our books are sorted into over 75 different categories, and we also offer records, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, games and more. Proceeds raised from the sale benefit Dayton-area non-profits. This year's beneficiaries are Family Promise of Greene County, the Ohio Performing Arts Institute and Gem City Roller Derby.

Everyone ages five years and older can participate, making this a perfect family activity. Since this event requires your participation, it gives you an enjoyable and memorable introduction to this unique and fascinating art form. Work is featured in the Kettering Health Art Gallery at Rosewood Arts Center in Kettering, OH. $1,600 in artist awards will be selected by the juror. The exhibition will be on display in the Kettering Health Art Gallery at Rosewood Arts Center from September 29 to November 8. A closing reception will be held on Saturday, November 8 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Rosewood Arts Center announces a call for entries for the 7th Annual Print Portfolio Exchange. Artists are invited to submit an edition of ten original prints in exchange for a random assortment of eight original prints by other participants. Print exchange participants will also receive one commemorative print made by artists at Rosewood Arts Center and a booklet featuring all of the submitted prints. Of the original ten prints, one will become part of Rosewood’s permanent collection and one will be exhibited in the Rosewood Community Gallery during a Rosewood Holiday Sale, a fundraising event to benefit Rosewood programs.

Open to all artists working in the print medium. The submission deadline is November 8, 2025.
