Jefferson Township Public Schools

In the Jefferson Township School District, families and students will encounter some changes this school year. This includes some cuts after four failed levies since 2024.

Jefferson Township Local Schools requested an earned income tax levy in order to support salaries and other expenses. It failed to pass during the 2025 election.

Jefferson Township Local Schools has a 1% earned income tax levy on the November ballot. Leaders said it will generate millions of dollars the district needs to keep quality teachers.
