Dayton Metro Library's Party in the Park is Saturday in Cooper Park.

Celebrate the rich history of Hills & Dales MetroPark! Learn about the park's beginnings, how it became publicly owned land, and how it has developed during the past 100 years. And the plans to care for it in the future. This is tonight, 5 to 8pm.

The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center has an historic exhibit about Troy’s Musical Moments. It takes a look at the people and places that are a part of Troy’s music history. The opening reception is today from 5 to 6:45 pm.

Healing Day for Tornado Relief is day of wellness with classes and mini sessions throughout the day to help with tornado relief. The Ayurveda Natural Health Center, is in Beavercreek, and these are no cost events on Saturday noon to 5pm.

It’s the family-friendly celebration of the season as Dayton Metro Library hosts Party in the Park. Games, entertainment, activities, and experiences for all ages take place inside the Main Library and in Cooper Park, downtown. There is no charge for this and food trucks will be on hand for the purchase of food and beverages. The event takes place rain or shine on Saturday, 1 to 4pm.

The GarlicFest revels in anything and everything garlic. With an emphasis on this potent cousin of the onion, this event features live music entertainment, numerous arts and craft vendors and a wide range of garlic-centric dishes. So get your breath mints ready and head to this celebration of all things garlic. Saturday, noon to 10pm.

Five Rivers MetroParks is celebrating International Mud Day with a day of free, hands-on activities in the Children’s Discovery Garden at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark. On Saturday from 10am to 2pm families can participate in 10 muddy activities with help from MetroParks educators and volunteers.
