Read Aloud Radio is a feature by Community Voices producer Jonathan Platt. He has an organization called Story Chain, which brings families together through the reading of children’s books. And through this work, he’s come upon a lot of children’s books that are great to read aloud.
This week's book is "One Crazy Summer" by Rita Williams-Garcia will be read by Mary Evans and is about three sisters who travel to Oakland, California, in 1968 to meet the mother who abandoned them.
