Joseph Morales and Nik Walker will lead the upcoming national tour of Hamilton.

With the pandemic slowing down, theatre is getting ready to heat up.

Dayton Live announced its upcoming Broadway Series today, and it will likely be a post-pandemic crowd pleaser.

A long delayed production of Cats will be coming to the Schuster Center at Thanksgiving.

Then Dayton Live’s new series takes off in January. They’ll stage three recent winners of the Tony Award for Best Musical: Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, and Come from Away.

Dayton Live’s Ty Sutton says it’s rare to get productions like that back-to-back-to-back.

"It feels like three seasons in one," Sutton says. "Because there’s not any new Broadway product right now—because of the year plus layoff—we are getting a whole bunch of great shows."

There will also be some classics and fan favorites, like Mean Girls, Fiddler on the Roof, and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Season subscriptions are on sale now, but single tickets won’t be available until the fall.

Sutton says scalpers and scamsters like to pray on Hamilton’s popularity. He says real tickets at real prices are available atDaytonLive.org.
