Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is going ahead with a planned stop in Kettering, but the campaign says the focus will be on helping victims of Superstorm Sandy.
The event at Fairmont High School in Kettering is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
A Romney spokeswoman said the event will be "a disaster relief event where Gov. Romney may make brief remarks." Another Romney event in Lima today has been canceled.
Romney and President Barack Obama had canceled campaign stops yesterday as Sandy bore down on the U.S. coast. It brought devastating damage and millions of power outages to a large swath of the northeast, including parts of eastern Ohio.
