The 2012 Dayton Heritage Festival at Carillon Park

On Sunday, The Dayton International Peace Museum presents “Iran: Yesterday and Today.” which includes a Rick Steves Public TV video and a local expert.  This is Sunday at 2:00pm

Dayton Heritage Festival in the Carillon Historical Park is having a huge show on Sunday.  Enjoy Live Entertainment Throughout the Day!  Ride the Wright Flyer Trolley to Carillon Park! Learn about Dayton's Rich Heritage! Cool off with a beer at the Heidelberg Beer Garden and hear the Good Time Accordion Band from noon -2:00pm! In the evening the Dayton Philharmonic and the Dayton Ballet are performing. And Join for the Grand Fireworks Finale at Dusk!

At the end of June the Cityfolk Festival will be happening. It takes thousands of hours of volunteer time to pull together the three-day celebration of music, dance, culture and the City of Dayton Fireworks display. Be a volunteer to help this most important festival. Go to cityfolk.org and find the “Volunteer”

Nominate your Champion of Hope in the fight against cancer! Miami Valley Hospital Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2013 Champions of Hope event.  This fall, they will honor a cancer survivor, MVH medical professional, caregiver, and a special person of inspiration.  The deadline for nominations is June 15.
