Two different holidays specifically celebrate women - Mother's Day and International Women's Day. Dr. Judith Ezekiel, Women's Studies professor at Wright State University, will examine the historic roots and deeper meaning of these very different holidays at a free program at the Dayton Metro Library. On Sunday, at 3 p.m. in the Schuster Center, Conductor Patrick Reynolds and the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra present Orchestra from Planet X, the second concert in the 2012-2013 Imagine Season DP&L Foundation Family Series
Cityfolk is celebrating Dayton's remarkable diversity with a community photo contest. Winning photographs will be exhibited at indoor and outdoor locations in the Oregon District. Deadline is March 25.
