Waterfalls, ponds and garden trains are some of the amazing features on the DeWeese Ridgecrest Garden Showcase on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eight gardens in the DeWeese Ridgecrest neighborhood are on the tour which will be held rain or shine.  Tickets can be purchased at the tour table at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark. You may drive, bike or walk from garden to garden.

If you want to get on a kayak then head over to RiverScape MetroPark. On Saturday there are Kayak rentals from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
And all weekend there are bikes and roller blades you can rent and cruise around the river.

The Children's Summer Peace Camp is at the Dayton International Peace Museum.  All children ages 3 through grade 6 can come to Summer Peace Camp each day from (Monday through Thursday) 9:00 AM til noon! They will be "Building the Circle of Peace" every day with stories, games, crafts, snacks and music and dance!

Dayton garnered the No. 2 place in a national list of urban arts hotspots in an annual readers' poll. The summer 2012 issue of AmericanStyle magazine tells readers to add Dayton to their "summer arts travel list."
