Beyond Vision Art currently displays its artwork in a number of temporary exhibits. Its curator is working to change that and open a permanent gallery in Dayton by and for the visually impaired.

The current shelter has been in use since the ‘70s. Miami County Partners for Animal Welfare, the nonprofit that operates the shelter, said it’s not sufficient for the needs of the animals and staff anymore.

Prior to working with House of Bread, Sherry Gale worked with Dayton Public Schools for three and a half years.

The organization was founded in 2015 by former Congressman and ambassador Tony Hall.
