What began as a solo recording project for Rev Chad Wells soon grew into a full fledged band with players gathered from throughout the Dayton music community. With their debut live performance close in sight, the members of Cricketbows visited the WYSO studios for a live set on Kaleidoscope and spoke with hose Juliet Fromholt about finding their live sound from Wells' original recordings and the dark psychedelic music past and present that has influenced the band.
Cricketbows' debut live performance is Saturday, June 15 at Canal Street Tavern where they'll share the stage with Jah Soul.
