Antioch Word Explores Crossover Community Development: Urban Food Projects, Part 2

For this episode of the Antioch Word, WYSO Miller Fellow Rachel Isaacson interviews leaders of food justice projects that the Urban Food Projects class in Summer 2018 visited. The class was hosted by Kat Christen, manager of the Antioch Farm, who wanted to take classes to local gardens to discuss and see first-hand the type of work that these projects do. This podcast is Part 2 of a two-part series on local food justice, where Rachel Isaacson interviewed Catherine Bitwayiki from the project Crossover Community Development.

Crossover Community Development not only seeks to tackle food insecurity in Dayton; also they seek to help immigrants and migrants integrate into the community.

This interview was edited by Rachel Isaacson, current Miller Fellow at WYSO and co-host of The Antioch Word, a podcast for the Antioch College community, about Antioch College written and produced by Antioch College students working at WYSO.
