A Night at the Museum at the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park is tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. You will hunt for clues as you encounter costumed characters who will help them in their quest to translate coded messages, find hidden pictures, seek clues to a treasure, and hopefully win a prize! You may also make crafts to take home!
Are you looking for a wholesome, non-scary program that is perfect for the entire family? Then plan to attend Aullwood’s Enchanted Forest on Friday and Saturday from 6 - 8:30 p.m. at the Charity A. Krueger Farm
Discovery Center. There will be thrilling all-new activities for everyone. Roast marshmallows and hot dogs or make s'mores over a fire while you take in the sounds and scents of a lovely fall evening.
Native plants are sustainable, good for wildlife and the environment, and some have even become superstars in the perennial plant industry. Unfortunately, some native plants also have a reputation for looking weedy, boring or out of control and not being a good choice for the home garden. Don't be confused! Join popular garden writer Stephanie Cohen for a discussion about selecting and incorporating the best of native plants in your garden to add sparkle and bling. You'll save time, money, and water, and your garden will look fantastic! Meet in the Wegerzyn Auditorium Sunday from 2 until 4pm.
My wife, Molly D. Campbell has written a book titled "Characters In Search of a Novel" and a book reviewer says “I first encountered Molly Campbell's work online and thought she was brilliant. I was therefore thrilled to see that she'd collected her characters into a book. Campbell has a remarkable talent for bringing an entire character to life in a few paragraphs, and you meet a fascinating collection of them here. I wasn't sure that reading one after another would be enjoyable, but this was like eating popcorn for me. As soon as I finished one, I wanted another. I can't wait until some of these characters find their novels.”
Gotta go….
