Dayton Contemporary Dance Company invites the community to a free block party event at their studios. With face painting, a bounce house, carnival games, line dancing, and more for children this is fun for all ages and just in time for the final moments of summer fun before school starts. To help with back to school preparations, DCDC is giving away book bags filled with school supplies for elementary and middle school children. Supplies are limited. Step inside the studios, see mini performances by the company, dance a line dance, grab great food, and do a little shopping with local vendors. This block party is DCDC's gift to the community. Bring your family and friends to the highlight of your summer.

Back for its 38th year, the “Art on the Commons” Fine Arts and Crafts Festival features more than 100 artists from around the country. Located at Lincoln Park Civic Commons in Kettering, the festival’s live music and top-notch artists make “Art on the Commons” a destination for several thousand art lovers every year. “Art on the Commons” is organized by Rosewood Arts Center, a division of the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts department of the City of Kettering.

Country music’s biggest voices are headed to West Chester!

The Voices of America Country Music Fest returns to Voice of America MetroPark Aug. 6–9, 2026, for four days of unforgettable live music, food, fun, and festival energy in the heart of Southwest Ohio. Now in its 4th year, the festival is expected to welcome more than 100,000 fans and will feature country artists Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, and more.

Set on the historic grounds of the former Voice of America Bethany Relay Station, this one-of-a-kind festival brings together country music’s biggest stars and fans for a celebration of music, history, and American spirit. Don’t miss one of Ohio’s biggest country music weekends!
