Take part in a self-guided geocache-style passport adventure to explore 12 meaningful locations across Kettering, each connected to an America 250 Ohio monthly theme. Pick-up a passport at select locations to get started!

Nature Explorers June 8th-June 12th: Dive into nature where we explore everything from jungles to the arctic! We’ll adventure to both the Learning Tree Farm and the Wild Hearts African Farm to visit all of the animals they have, from chickens to emus and more!Space Odyssey June 15th-June 19th: To infinity and beyond! Let’s take off on a week full of space travel! Campers head to the National Museum of the United States Air Force to get up close with planes and visit the Space Gallery.Time Travelers June 22nd-June 26th: Travel back in time in this wacky week of time bending shenanigans! Campers travel 800 years in the past at Sunwatch Indian Village and travel back from 1796 to present at Carillon Historical Park.Water World July 6th-July 10th: Let’s have a splash... I mean, a BLAST! Diving into lots of water-themed fun! Campers adventure to Charleston Falls Preserve and Holes Creek Park.Fantasy July 13th-July 17th: Get ready to experience the mystical and magical with trolls, unicorns, Bigfoot, and everything in between! Campers visit Aullwood Audubon to meet the trolls and also get to explore the whimsical Wegerzyn Gardens.Spy Kids July 20th-July 24th: We’ll enter the world of investigation and espionage in this action packed week! Campers get a behind-the-scenes look at the Moraine Police Division while checking out their equipment and more!Weather Watchers July 27th-July 31st: Keep an eye on the sky and hang tight to your weather ropes! This week we’ll discover the science of storms, and visit local station WDTN to learn all about meteorology!
Cats for All features artwork created by Rosewood Students, Faculty, Staff, and Renters that display the wonders of our feline friends in various mediums and styles. This exhibit will run from June 11 through August 29, and is free and open to the public Mondays through Thursdays, 9 AM to 9 PM, Fridays 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturdays 10 AM to 3 PM.

The 10th annual BIG Backyard Party is here! Join us for an afternoon full of hands-on activities all ages and abilities can enjoy. Activities will include inflatables, fishing, archery, field games and so much more! Two hundred free fishing poles are available for children ages 14 and under thanks to a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. This program is made possible by several ongoing community partnerships. Attendees are encouraged to bring unopened/unexpired canned or boxed food items to support The Foodbank. Specific high-need items will be posted on our Facebook event page closer to the event.
Registration is requested. Treats from Claybourne Grill Food Truck, Travelin’ Tom's Coffee Truck, and Kona Ice will be available to purchase and enjoy. This event is part of the America-250 Ohio Celebration!

Everything Environmental Fest is a free, family-friendly celebration of nature, sustainability, conservation, and outdoor exploration. Hosted by the City of Huber Heights Parks & Recreation Department, this event brings together food truck, vendors, environmental organizations, and local businesses for a day of hands-on learning and fun.
Visitors can enjoy interactive activities, environmental demonstrations, educational displays, live animal presentations, nature-themed exhibits, and opportunities to connect with organizations dedicated to protecting and preserving our natural world. Families will have the chance to explore topics such as wildlife, gardening, recycling, conservation, renewable resources, and outdoor recreation through engaging experiences designed for all ages.
