A short film collection featuring reflections, stories, and creative musings on our criminal justice system and its faults is premiering at The Neon in Dayton. Brie Hope, Dionte Allen, Leroy Bean, and Mariah Johnson, four artists from the Artist Power Hive - Midwest collective, are presenting their new collaborative work "Healing Through Freedom, Freedom Through Healing" on Sunday July 18th at 7:30 and 9 PM in collaboration with The Neon. The quartet spoke to Excursions host Evan Miller at WYSO about their coming together, the project's mixed-media contents, and what they hope viewers will learn and absorb from the films.

The Neon presents the premiere screening of "Healing Through Freedom, Freedom Through Healing" by Brie Hope, Dionte Allen, Leroy Bean, and Mariah Johnson this Sunday evening July 18th at 7:30 and 9 PM.
