Speaking Suns To Perform At Springfield's IndieCraft Festival 2021

Yellow Springs' Speaking Suns are playing their first show of 2021 at the IndieCraft 2021 beer and music festival in Springfield this weekend. The band came to WYSO's studio to perform some fresh new tunes, plus one from their 2020 album Terrestrial Year, and talked to Excursions host Evan Miller about what they've been up to since the pandemic hit, and what's in store as live music begins to pick up again.

Speaking Suns, alongside In The Pines, Motherfolk, Katawicks, The Story Changes, fellow Yellow Springers Stringus Khan, and more, are performing at IndieCraft 2021 at Mother Stewart's Brewery in Springfield. You can keep with Speaking Suns on their Instagram and Facebook pages.

Evan Miller

Evan Miller is a musician, curator, and radio person based in Yellow Springs. With roots studying percussion at Wright State University and cutting his radio teeth at WWSU, he is currently Assistant Music Director and host of Midday Music and The Outside at 91.3 WYSO and Novaphonic.FM. Outside of radio, you can find Evan regularly playing in several bands in the area, booking/curating shows including The Outside Presents experimental series in Yellow Springs, snooping around area record stores, and spoiling his cat Nova (Novaphonic's animal mascot!).
