Area filmmaker Dale Farmer's most recent work The Mountain Minor features many notable area old-time musicians, but also pulls some national talent as well. Elizabeth LaPrelle, one half of the acclaimed folk duo Anna & Elizabeth, was cast in the film after Farmer caught a show the duo performed, and wanted to utilize LaPrelle's talent and knowledge in old-time music in his film. She spoke with WYSO's Niki Dakota on Excursions about her role in the film, and her music-making background and career.
