WYSO & WSU Dept. of Theatre, Dance, and Motion Pictures to Present Broadcast Reenactment of "War of the Worlds"

WYSO and the Wright State University Department of Theatre, Dance, and Motion Pictures are presenting a collaborative performance this Halloween. Students from WSU, alongside WYSO's very own Rev Cool, will be performing a live reenactment of Orson Welles' famous radio drama adaptation of The War of the Worlds, based on the novel by H.G. Wells. Niki Dakota of WYSO's Excursions spoke with director Joe Deer, professor and chair of the department at Wright State, about their plans to take on one of the most infamous radio broadcasts of all time, and how he and his students are practicing their craft in the face of the pandemic.
