Filmmaker Leah Byrd Combines Music, Drag And Civic Action In New "Vote Early" Video

Filmmaker Leah Byrd's newest project combines their love of video, music and drag. "Vote Early" was created by Byrd as part of The Center for Cultural Power's Our Movement to the Ballot Box art series. Kaleidoscope host Juliet Fromholt spoke with Byrd about combining their passion for music and drag with their film work, creating the video during the coronavirus pandemic and the debut of Thrustin Knightley.

Juliet Fromholt is proud to be music director at 91.3FM WYSO and Novaphonic.FM. Juliet began volunteering at WYSO while working at WWSU, the student station at her alma mater, Wright State University.
