Dayton's History's annual Hawthorne Hill open house is April 28.

If you want to take a ride in an electric vehicle and chat with enthusiastic and knowledgeable owners, then go to Sinclair College Automotive Center on Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and take a ride.  You learn about very low energy and maintenance costs and, of course, no fossil burning pollution emissions. This is Saturday, noon to 5pm. In the mid-1980’s in a suburban Massachusetts town a thirty-something-year-old Josephine Rosen has a dead-end job as a secretary and still lives at home with her mother. This is a new play called “Nice Girl” and is at the Dayton Theatre Guild. It opens tonight and runs through May 5.

The famous house in Oakwood of the Wright Brothers is having an “open house.” It’s on April 28 from noon to 5pm. This special Hawthorn Hill open house only happens once a year and has sold out the past three years!

Dayton International Peace Museum is having a day camp for kids on June 24 to 28. Their theme is "Peace Offerings from the Earth: Sacred Elements/Sacred Gifts.” Check it out at daytonpeacemuseum.org/camp-ad
