John Moore was a racial equity advocate in Dayton for 60 years. He died last week at the age of 97. Moore took on leadership roles with The Dayton Foundation and The African-American Community Fund, helping to create endowments and scholarships that have served thousands throughout the region.
When StoryCorps visited the Miami Valley in 2014, Moore was interview by his friend Dr. Robert C. Walker.
