Medical Equipment Maker to Move Offices to Dayton
A western Ohio medical equipment company is planning to move corporate offices and 51 jobs to Dayton.
The Dayton Daily News reports that Midmark Corp. would also add six jobs under plans to move into space in the former NCR Corp. headquarters building.
The Darke County company employs some 1,600 people globally and makes medical, dental and veterinary equipment.
The company is receiving $100,000 in county economic development money to help pay for renovation costs. It will be leasing some 23,000 square feet from the University of Dayton, the building's owner.
The school says the 455,000-square-foot former NCR building is about 30 percent occupied, with more programs expected to move in.
The Dayton City Commission approved the Midmark proposal in March.
