The Bruins are releasing their debut record and celebrating with a show at Oregon Express. Joined by Dayton heavy-hitters TINO and Tybee & the Buzz, with an afterparty electronic set by Isicle. Doors at 7, music at 8, and a $10 cover.

M Ross Perkins had music journalists in a tizzy when he released his critically acclaimed self-titled debut in 2016. Record Collector called it “a truly great album filled with late ‘60s and early ‘70s pop goodness,” while High Times hailed it as “the kind of good old-fashioned psychedelic-tinged rock & roll that the world could use right now.” The critics are right to praise the Ohio-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who crafts his distinctively imaginative recordings all alone in his home studio, frequently invoking comparisons to pop-rock visionaries like Brian Wilson and Paul McCartney.

Join us for Pride Rocks!- a free, family-friendly celebration where community comes together to raise awareness and share resources for mental health and suicide prevention in the LGBTQ+ community. All are welcome! What to Expect: Join us in painting colorful, Pride-themed rocks with messages of hope and support. All materials will be provided! Fuel up with delicious eats from a variety of local food trucks, connect with local mental health providers and learn more about available mental health resources, browse unique crafts & products from local vendors, and enjoy live music from LGBTQ+ musicians.
