Back by popular demand, DCDC's beloved holiday story reimagining Charles Tazewell's children's book as a living bedtime story celebrates its 10th anniversary this December. Choreographed by Crystal Michelle, Associate Artistic Director of DCDC and former DCDC dance artist, the "ballet" was created as a moving story for her newly born son. Countess V. Winfrey, Rehearsal Director, and dancer artist dances the "Littlest Angel" role for the sixth year, a monumental feat as she finds new ways to be more childlike, curious, and emotionally involved in the 90-minute production.
