The School Based Health Center provided 4,000 appointments in its first year with Springfield High School.

The Hospital Ballot Committee and the Clergy Community Coalition delivered 2,800 additional petition signatures after the ballot initiative was voted down at the Dayton City Commission meeting July 23.

The Clergy Community Coalition has another shot to gather signatures to get a public hospital levy on the November ballot. The Dayton City Commission explained their votes, which was split 2-2 with one abstaining.

Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region will close two of its four family planning clinics: one in Hamilton and one in Springfield. It attributes the closures to Medicaid cuts.
