The Mulchmen's 2019 Dayton Music Fest performance is being released as an album called Live Mulch.

Longtime Dayton surf rock band the Mulchmen will have several new releases to close out 2021. The band's first two albums, Louder Than Dirt, Thicker Than Mud and Greetings from Planet Stupider! are getting their first-ever digital release, and Live Mulch, recorded at the 2019 Dayton Music Fest, will be released for the first time on CD and digital.

The Mulchmen will celebrate the releases on Saturday, December 4 at Blind Bob's in Dayton with Lung, who recently released their new full-length album Come Clean Right Now, and Zach & Henny.

Nick Kizirnis from the Mulchmen and Daisy Caplan and Kate Wakefield from Lung spoke with Kaleidoscope host Juliet Fromholt about their recent releases, returning to the stage and more.
