2012 marks the fifth run for Nativity The Pop Opera, a holiday show that's become a local tradition in the Miami Valley. Created by J. Todd Anderson and Mark Cohea, Nativity tells the Christmas story from the angels' point of view through song and dance and aims to give back to the community through the production's support of local children's charities. This year's production supports A Kid Again. Member of the cast and the creative team, including J. Todd Anderson, Al Holbrook, Emma Woodruff and Xander Hildenbrandt visited the WYSO studios to talk about the production and share a special live song. They were joined by Mike Teague from A Kid Again who spoke about his organization's mission of providing fun, positive experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Nativity The Pop Opera will be performed December 13 - 16 at the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene. Admission is free and and all proceeds and free donations will go to A Kid Again.
