Robthebank formed in the mid 90s and performed around Dayton and the Midwest until guitar player/vocalist Nate Farley got an offer to tour with Guided by Voices. Inspired by a reunion show of another 90s Dayton band, the Method, earlier this spring, Farley, Craigo Nichols (Drums), Duane Hart (Bass) and Heather Newkirk (Vocals) began rehearsing Robthebank material and soon began playing shows locally. Now the band is recording new material with hopes of releasing an album soon.
Robthebank visited the WYSO studios for a live set and to share new recordings while they chatted with Kaleidoscope host, Juliet Fromholt.
