Book Nook: No Game for a Dame, by M. Ruth Myers

"No Game for a Dame" is the first book in new series of detective novels that feature Maggie Sullivan, a hard boiled private eye. This book is set in Dayton, Ohio in the late 1930's. The author has had a long career as a
novelist. In this interview we talked about the creation of this tough talking gumshoe with "great gams" as well as the rapidly changing world of book publishing.

"No Game for a Dame" was originally published as an electronic book. Myers explains what the eBook publishing process was like for her and the new opportunities that are being made available for writers through this burgeoning technology.

Vick Mickunas introduced the Book Nook author interview program for WYSO in 1994.
