Tonight is First Friday in downtown Dayton. You can shop, eat, dine, and be entertained all over the place from 5 to 10pm.
Mike’s Big Ol’ Bike is a ride through Dayton’s beautiful and historic neighborhoods. It’s a 3-mile ride through St Anne’s Hill and the meeting is tonight at 6:30pm, pedals down at 7, back by 7:45 and then there’s a party to 9pm.
The Dutoit Show has a new exhibition featuring David Leach. His is a continuation of his work and are primarily linear abstractions as the drawings derive mostly from memory rather than direct observation. This is at Front Street Warehouse, and there is a reception tonight, 6 to 9pm.
A day of hoopla with over 200 arts, crafts & food vendors, two music stages, a beer garden and street performers throughout town. This is a festival like no other and is right here in Yellow Springs, tomorrow…Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
The Garden Gems Tour is a walking tour of five spectacular gardens in Kettering and Oakwood. Each garden is different and all offer their own special surprises: riots of color, tumbling water, sculptures, rambling paths, and outdoor rooms. Discover hidden retreats, and see how these gardeners use interesting native plants in delightful combinations. It is Saturday, rain or shine, 9am to 3pm.
