On Saturday, September 18, the Yellow Springs community will host Porchfest, a free event during which fifty local bands will perform on 36 porches across the village.
Yellow Springs Council member Laura Curliss said during a village council meeting this week that the event will offer a fun, safe way to celebrate the end of summer.
“We’re looking forward to a great day of out-of-doors socializing and good local music,” said Curliss.
A map and schedule of the bands playing is available on YSPorchfest.com. The outdoor event will run from noon to seven p.m. and participants are expected to follow pandemic protocols and social distance.
WYSO is a media sponsor of this event, but Yellow Springs Porchfest had no editorial involvement in this story.
