Such A Night: The Last Waltz Live To Benefit WYSO

Two Performances: November 27 2019 - November 29 2019

Nearly 30 local musicians will gather on the stage of the Dayton Art Institute's Mimi and Stuart Rose Auditorium to recreate the historic performances of The Band's The Last Waltz and celebrate the original concert, which took place November 25, 1976. There will be two performances again in 2019, on Wednesday, November 27 and Friday, November 29.

Such a Night: The Last Waltz Live features many of Dayton’s most talented musicians, including a seven-piece horn section. The original film The Last Waltz documented The Band's final concert, and it featured performances by Dr. John, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Neil Diamond, Van Morrison, Emmylou Harris, Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Eric Clapton, and Bob Dylan.

Proceeds from the performances benefit WYSO and The Dayton Art Institute. This annual concert always sells out - be sure to buy your tickets early!
