The Jewel Case: Double Theme - Sun Studios and Years (1-2-20)

It's a DOUBLE THEME! In Hours 2 and 3, we'll be spinning songs with YEARS in the title, in honor of our brand spankin' new one. As a bonus, we'll be devoting the majority of the first hour to the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the opening of Memphis Recording Service: Sam Phillips' legendary Sun Studios. Join Tod Weidner on Thursday, 8-11pm for The Jewel Case, a weekly celebration of all manner of musical goodness: deep cuts, forgotten treasures, and curiosities with a new theme each show spanning all genres, eras and locales. 

A lifelong Miami Valley resident, Tod Weidner grew up in Ludlow Falls before moving to Dayton in the early 1990s. Tod has been heavily involved in the Dayton Music Scene for over 20 years, as both a solo performer and a member of such bands as The Motel Beds, Shrug, The American Static, and Set The Controls, to name just a few.
