Local DJ and promoter FULLBODY stopped by WYSO with Dr.Coop and Drut to talk about their new weekly residency at Belmont Billiards. Every Thursday in June will feature a lineup curated by FULLBODY with the next show, June 12, titled "New School vs Old School Drum and Bass."

Belmont Billiards has risen to popularity in the last few years for serving food into the late hours of the night, alongside a lineup of music that includes electronic music and hip-hop.
"I started going to Belmont about two years ago. It's always been a space that I've really enjoyed being in- it's great for local music and as a gathering space. I went to one of my first shows in Dayton there. That was such a formative experience for me. It inspired me to become involved with the local music scene because it's just so diverse and there's so much awesome music here. People in Dayton really just show out for everything." said FULLBODY.
John Chamberlain, known as FULLBODY, is one of the many fresh DJs here in Dayton that is pushing the scene for electronic music forward. Chamberlain has been steadily hosting events for a while now, giving audiences a chance to let loose on the dance floor and DJs an opportunity to showcase their talents.
"I threw my first show Belmont Billiards. It was a very low key thing. I did a hardware set with my friend Gianni, aka Drut. We did this improv, like hard techno, noise thing. But ever since then, I've always loved Belmont Billiards. It's been really awesome getting to do a show every Thursday there and be around to throw some shows for the community."
