Book Nook: Eternal by Lisa Scottoline

Vick Mickunas' 2021 interview with Lisa Scottoline

The first time I interviewed Lisa Scottoline she came out to Yellow Springs for a live appearance during one of her early book tours that took her through Dayton. At the time Lisa was just getting going on her career as a novelist. She had been an attorney prior to that and her early books were legal thrillers.

Lisa has worked really hard and her efforts have paid off. Her books are now routinely best-sellers. Her latest novel, "Eternal," was clearly a passion project for her. In this interview she talked about how she had wanted to write this sort of a book since her college days and that she finally decided it was time to do it. It is also quite different from her previous books.

Lisa is one of my favorite guests. We always have a great time together and I never have any difficulty persuading her to express herself.

The Book Nook on WYSO is presented by the Greene County Public Library with additional support from Washington-Centerville Public Library, Clark County Public Library, Dayton Metro Library, and Wright Memorial Public Library.
