This anthology is a collection of essays, observations, and poetry that were inspired by Dayton, Ohio. In this conversation with anthology editor Shannon Shelton Miller we discussed some of the highlights and the lowlights about living in Dayton today and in the past. 2019 was a difficult year for Dayton and this collection contains pieces that reflect upon some of those ordeals and the resilience of Daytonians who set their jaws and strived to move onward as the city recovered from an act of madness and the forces of nature.
