Best of the Book Nook: The Sense of Being Stared At: And Other Aspects of the Extended Mind by Rupert Sheldrake

Rupert Sheldrake came out to our studios in 2003 as he passed through our region on a publicity tour for his book "The Sense of Being Stared At: And Other Aspects of the Extended Mind." Sheldrake is a somewhat controversial fellow and we had a lively discussion that day about some of his experiments and theories.

And I got to surprise him with my story about Bart the goldfish. Sheldrake seemed impressed that I had actually felt like I was communicating with a fish.

The Book Nook on WYSO is presented by the Greene County Public Library with additional support from Washington-Centerville Public Library, Clark County Public Library, Dayton Metro Library, and Wright Memorial Public Library.
