Best of the Book Nook: The Lions of Lucerne by Brad Thor

Eighteen years ago I had a young writer making his first appearance on the program with his debut novel. Brad Thor's book "The Lions of Lucerne" became the initial book in what has been a highly popular series of patriotic thrillers that feature the former Navy Seal Scot Harvath. Brad Thor has written nearly twenty novels in this series so far and they are routinely best-sellers.

When I interviewed Brad Thor in 2002 he was excited about publishing his first book and he was eager to be going out on his first book tour. The book was just about to be released when we had this conversation.
