Book Nook: Kill Anything That Moves - the Real American War in Vietnam, by Nick Turse

Nick Turse was working on a project researching the incidence of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in US veterans of the Vietnam War. He wasn't having much luck. Then one day he was given access to the archives of the Vietnam War Crimes Working Group. Turse was stunned by what was contained in these US Government files.

Over the past decade Turse investigated what he found. He went to Vietnam and interviewed survivors of massacres that happened during the Vietnam War. He interviewed US veterans of the conflict. The result, "Kill Anything That Moves - the Real American War in Vietnam," is a profoundly disturbing book that details horrifying atrocities that went mostly unreported by the US media.

This deeply unsettling book documents a dark industry of US brutality toward Vietnamese civilians.
