The URS Rubber Duck Regatta is Saturday during the Hispanic Heritage Festival.

Tomorrow, Saturday, at the downtown Dayton Riverscape there are two events going on. The Hispanic Heritage Festival is there from 11am to 11pm and lots of music and Hispanic food …and then the URS Rubber Duck Regatta is there beginning at 4 pm…you can see 20,000 rubber ducks fall down the river."

If you are interested in cameras and photography and its history then Jay Cymbalak is presenting a history about this and camera types to famous photos. Cymbalak is a photographer and collector of cameras and photography memorabilia and has worked in the field for 30+ years. This is at the Wright Memorial Library in Oakwood on Sunday, at 2pm.

Gustafer Yellowgold’s Show is a funny and touching multimedia performance of live music, colored-pencil animations and storytelling. Gustafer the character is a friendly creature who came to Earth from the sun and is living out an explorer’s life in a slightly psychedelic version of the Minnesota woods. He's at Levitt Pavilion on Sunday at 4:30pm. There is no cost...just bring your chair!

PEACE DAYton celebrations in the Miami Valley is in action and this is the Third of Four Weeks. Over 100 organizations and 40 events keep Dayton Strong.

Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill is a play about Billie Holiday, or “Lady Day” as she was called, who in 1959 performed one of her final shows in a run-down bar in South Philly. Holiday engages the audience with salty, often humorous reminiscences of her troubled life as a traveling performer in a segregated south. This play is at the Human Race Theatre, now through September 29.
