Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience is this weekend.

If you’re a tinkerer, crafter, engineer or manufacturer and if you like to make stuff with your hands, the Make It Dayton Festival is for you. It’s at Dayton History’s Carillon Historical Park on Saturday and it will be a gathering of tinkerers, crafters, engineers and hobbyists who reflect Dayton’s heritage of invention and manufacturing.

One Giant Leap For Chocolate! (based on the 50th anniversary of the moon landing) is at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Event Center. It is family friendly, live radio broadcasts, entertainment, door prizes, vendors, and lots of chocolate. There is no cost and it’s Saturday 10am to 5pm

The Dayton Contemporary Dance Company are presenting two explosive master works and vibrant conversation with Tony-Nominated, world-renowned choreographer Donald Byrd. Join this for the rare opportunity to catch a glimpse inside the mind of this brilliant artistic creator. This is at The Victoria, on Saturday, at 7:30pm; and Sunday, 4pm.

There is so much to do at the Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience.  Spend the day trying more than 20 activities and watching professional demos, connecting with national and local outdoor adventure exhibitors, shopping for new and used gear, relaxing with music and a beverage and winning awesome prizes! It’s at Eastwood MetroPark on Saturday and Sunday!

The Dayton Art Institute has a family event that features many fun activities and entertainment both inside the DAI, as well as on the museum grounds They are calling it Arts, Beats, and Eats and there is no cost. This is on Sunday from noon to 7pm
