What's Great In Dayton: May 29 - June 4, 2020

Front Street
https://www.facebook.com/artery.daytonartgallery
The ARTery gallery at Front Street is among many local galleries who have virtual offerings.

Check out the artists in the ARTery gallery. They redirect their focus and energy into creating new art helping create a sense of calm and peace.

The Kettering Rosewood Gallery has Art From Home with new art activities that can be done from your home. Making art is more important than ever and studies show that taking time to be creative has a host of benefits for both adults and children including reducing stress and boosting your mood.

The Dayton Society of Artists has a virtual gallery called "Intertwined." You can scroll through high quality images of fiber art and get more information about the art and artist. There’s also a shopping cart system.

There are 6 people who do a concert six feet apart in Oakwood.  They perform each Saturday at 2pm (weather permitting).  There is no Facebook, no website, AND no cost. Just stroll over at the corner of East Dixon Avenue and Shafor Boulevard and listen to them play….and I heard they may include a bag piper!

Keep exploring Five Rivers MetroParks. Whereever you go, there are all kind of things to do and places to walk and explore. Go to their website at metroparks.org
