What does it mean to be American today? That’s a question at the heart of American Creed, a documentary film followed with a Community Conversation facilitated by Miami University history professor Steven Conn. This is at the Wright Memorial Public Library in Oakwood on Saturday, 1 to 3:30pm.

Dorothy Height’s Hats features hats worn by Dr. Dorothy Irene Height, an author and icon of civil rights who was known for her leadership, courage, determination, and hats! This exhibition explores the life of her by bringing together 43 of her favorite and most iconic hats. This is at the DAI now through June 23.
Celebrate Earth Day by protecting and cleaning the region’s parks and waterways during Five Rivers MetroParks’ 32nd annual Adopt-A-Park. It is from 9am to noon on Saturday, April 13, and volunteers will come together to spruce up these green spaces just in time for spring. Register online by Friday, April 5.
